December 30, 2006 While everything we planned did not get done, this should be considered a successful year. There were over 4.3 million page views on the Kator Legaz site.

In January, we added thumbnails to the BMR and started planning a much more comprehensive Content Management System that would meet future needs. That planning was done in May, and the CMS programming started.

By July there were over 900 Blender 3D models in the Blender Model Repository and over 2,000,000 downloads, but there were too many legal problems for the "old" BMR to continue. We continued developing the CMS with the goal that it would solve those problems.

In October, it became obvious that the legal issues and investment associated with the BMR were too much for us to afford — and even though the CMS was ready for the public we could no longer continue with the BMR and development. Late in the month, we redesigned the Kator Legaz and CNU sites to meet our needs and omit collaborative development.

In November, I re-posted our 217 3D models to the KL site. December demonstrated our new desire to be more content-based, and we posted two product reviews and 21 PSP game reviews.

We are looking forward to the new year, new directions, and new content. There is a lot we wanted to do in 2006, all of which was delayed while we developed collaborative and community resources. We learned that a lot more money is required to be philanthropic, and the three years of money and time we have invested in various projects has proven that it is not possible until we have far more resources. This conclusion brings disappointment, yet at the same time we can now realistically focus on other things that are achievable within our means.

We plan for the new year be about gaming with PSP reviews, arcade designs, and other articles that reflect the year's focus. We wish the best for everyone in 2007!
